FDNY BOXING DONATES $10,000.00 TO BUILDING HOMES FOR HEROES (3/8/17)
A LETTER FROM BUILDING HOMES FOR HEROES:
Please know that I would like to personally thank you for your generous support of our organization, and for your admirable commitment to our nation’s veterans.
You have helped us achieve a tenth consecutive record-setting year in 2016. And thanks to the growing support from others, like you, we are finishing the year stronger than ever. This November and December, we gifted more than 10 mortgage-free homes for injured veterans and their families, in time for the holidays, and will break ground on three additional homes. These homes will help us reach a record-setting total of 31-mortgage-free homes gifted, plus ten additional home modifications, in a single year.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for believing in us and we hope that you will continue to support this life-changing and noble mission. Together, we are building homes and rebuilding lives, and providing many of our veterans in need with a shining light
towards a hopeful future.
We hope we can count on your continued support, and we will do all we can to can live up to your expectations. Please share our collective accomplishments with family and friends, start a donor page by clicking on the “Join Us” billboard at buildinghomesforheroes.org, and follow us on Facebook to learn more about the many amazing veterans we are helping
along their road to recovery.
A very happy holidays to you and your loved ones and a Happy New Year,
Proud President, Founder and Volunteer

The Proceeds were from the Battle of The Badges Match in November of 2015:
On Friday November 20th, 2015 at the 33rd Annual Battle of the Badges Boxing Match, we honored USMC Gunnery Sgt. Chris Claude. He has been a member of the USMC since 1998 serving as Field Artillery Radar Leader, A Marine Recruiter and a Field Artillery Operations Chief. He was injured on 2/20/06 in Iraq;
"while on patrol as a military advisor to the Iraqi Police, Chris' team was ambushed by an Iraqi Improvised Explosive Device where he lost his right leg, left thumb, sustained numerous broken bones, burns and shrapnel wounds." He also suffered a traumatic brain injury. God Bless this man and others like him for their heroism.
