Check Presentation to Building Homes for Heroes at the Easter Eve Uprising on 3/26/16.

The Proceeds were from the Battle of The Badges Match in November of 2015:

On Friday November 20th, 2015 at the 33rd Annual Battle of the Badges Boxing Match, we honored USMC Gunnery Sgt. Chris Claude. He has been a member of the USMC since 1998 serving as Field Artillery Radar Leader, A Marine Recruiter and a Field Artillery Operations Chief. He was injured on 2/20/06 in Iraq;

"while on patrol as a military advisor to the Iraqi Police, Chris' team was ambushed by an Iraqi Improvised Explosive Device where he lost his right leg, left thumb, sustained numerous broken bones, burns and shrapnel wounds." He also suffered a traumatic brain injury. Look inside

for all the pictures and the story.

Presentation of Check to Buliding Homes For Heroes at Intermission of the Easter Eve Uprising Match at Webster Hall. UFA's Ed Brown made a stirring speech to the crowd and Thanked Sgt. Chris Claude for his bravery and devotion to our country. The check was the proceeds from the Battle of The Badges Match in November of 2015.

It was previously presented at FDNY Headquarters (see above)

Chief of Dept. Jim Leonard and FDNY Commissioner Dan Nigro present to US Veteran Chris Claude a check for $15,000.00 made out to Building Homes For Heroes from the FDNY Boxing Team. CEO of Build Homes for Heroes; Andy Pujol flanks Chris. FDNY Boxing Team President Bobby McGuire looks on. The money will be used to build a Mortgage Free Home for Chris who lives in Pa. Chris was injured in Iraq in February of 2006. Chris lost his right leg as a result of an IED. He also sustained numerous other injuries. He's all smiles as well as everyone else at the ceremony at FDNY Headquarters on Wednesday March 23, 2016.

See above in 2014, the Boxing Team presenting to Building Homes For Heroes, a check for $7,000.00.

  The charity that they named for this year's Match is also Building Homes For Heroes. USMC Sgt. Claude is on the list to benefit from this organization, AND BENEFIT HE DID! The 50/50 was a whopping $2700.00. "Lyndsey" won and gave it all back. So the 50/50 pulled in $5400.00. THANK YOU LYNDSEY!

The Official Check Presentation is below.

Please come to another night of boxing for charity on

3/26/16 at Webster Hall. Help us help our Vets!

MANY THANKS TO ALL!
